Porous Concrete

Frank Bryan Inc. has developed and has supplied hundreds of yards of porous concrete for a variety of uses over the past 20 years. Currently, porous concrete, also known as pervious concrete, is being used as a paving material for parking lots, sidewalks and trails.

Porous/pervious concrete allows rainwater to flow through the concrete and not directly run off into the storm water systems. This has the dual effect of reducing storm water run-off and recharging the ground water system in our region. Additionally, depending on the void percentage used in the pervious concrete, developers can store rainwater inside the concrete rather than utilizing extensive pond systems for storm water retention.
